Hayti & Parrish, Durham - was a thriving African-American business district in Durham during the late 1800s and early 1900s. The area along Parrish Street centered around the Hayti neighborhood just east of downtown Durham, was home to over 200 Black-owned businesses, including banks, restaurants, theaters and shops.
Greenwood, Tulsa - is a historic freedom colony in Tulsa, Oklahoma. As one of the most prominent concentrations of African-American businesses in the United States during the early 20th century, it was popularly known as America's "Black Wall Street".
